I have never posted for “Show us your life” on Kelly’s Korner since I don’t have kids, and I am not much for “decorating” my house, I often do not have much to post!
But I do go on vacation upon occasion (not at all as often as I would like!!) I really love the beach, but my husband is not very fond of the beach. I prefer places like the Outer Banks of NC, which are not as commercialized as Ocean City MD. O.C. is much closer, so he agreed to go to Ocean City in September after the main “season”. We were able to get a great rate at a hotel. We got a really nice suite, so we could cook lunch. They also had a free buffet breakfast, and a pool for him and it was right on the ocean.
He came down to the ocean the first day, and after that he stayed in the room and practiced his banjo and guitar playing while I was at the beach. I’d come back up for lunch, and then I’d text him when I was ready to come back before dinner and we would meet at the pool and swim for a bit. Then we would clean up and go out to dinner some place nice. We had great weather, and I got some amazing photos.
I found a wonderful shell in the surf. I love shells!

Beautiful sunset!! I never grew up going to the beach and would only get to OC with friends, but I still miss it and all its cheesiness sometimes. Peyton still hasn’t experienced it’s joys, so I think a trip is due!
