One of the big things I notice while taking them is that I often have a difficult time choosing between two answers! I really want there to be a “maybe” or “mostly” or “sometimes”! I have considered trying it answering them one way, keeping track, and then doing the opposite to see where I end up, but that seems a bit time consuming! <\/p>\n
The other thing that I think of when I take these tests is of an exercise that I did in my Psych class when I was in college. We all took a test (I don’t recall the specifics of the test!), it was scored, and we all received a personality profile in the next class. After we had read them we were asked how accurate we thought they were. Most of us said we thought they were not perfect, but not too far off. Then the instructor told us that we were all holding the exact same profile!! He said that they are designed in such a way that they can describe many people, especially as we all give heavier weight to the parts that we feel are like us, and less weights to the parts that are not like us. He said this is how Zodiac sign descriptions etc are written. Ever since this class, I have been somewhat skeptical about these tests, especially when you add in what I describe above, that I feel like I could answer many of the questions either way!!<\/p>\n
Apropos of nothing, here is a photo of my cute puppy on the boat!!
