Chris is out of town on a business trip. When he is not home, my “schedule” (and I use that term very loosely!) gets all out of whack! Since I do not have to prepare meals for him, I often do not cook at home, or I eat odd things at odd hours, like PB&J at about midnight last night! I had fallen asleep early after being up at 3:45 am to prepare to drop him at the airport. Then I was really hungry when I woke up, and I knew I would not get back to sleep without something to eat.<\/p>\n
The weather today was so fabulous. It reminds me of how summer days felt when I was a kid. I would wake up and it would be cool from the night, but sunny. All the birds are out, and the neighborhood is still quiet. I remember the lovely feeling of no responsibilities, knowing I could roller skate or bike ride, or play barbie dolls or dress-ups with my best friend Cheryl. Sometimes I wish I could go back to that time for a visit, like a relaxing vacation!<\/p>\n
